He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Lawrence and Ethel Viola Osburn (Jackson); his brother Lary; and his children, Christy Osburn and William Osburn.
He is survived by: his former wife Barbara "Bobby" Burns; his wife Patricia Marie Welfl of Rapid City; his sons, John Osburn (Carolina) of Black Hawk and Douglas Osburn (Krista) of Rapid City; his stepsons, Carter Francis, Jr. of Rapid City and Joe Francis (Jennifer) of Portland, Oregon; his grandsons, Eddie Woods of Jacksonville, Florida and Shannon Taylor (Alyssia) of Lakeland, Georgia; and his great grandchildren, Lylah and Leo. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to the Rapid City Boys Club.
