With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Howard Coker (Vermillion, South Dakota), who passed away on January 18, 2019 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Earl H. Coker and Mary Leedy Coker; his wife Marjory Coker of Vermillion; his children, Jon Coker (Kay) of Rochester, MN, Mary Kay Coker of Jefferson City, MO, Steve Coker (Julie) of Lantana, TX and Tim (Shana) of Cedar Rapids, IA; his sisters, Rose Gunn (Al) of Canby, OR, Mary Coker of Copperopolis, CA and Elda (Andy) of Vallejo, CA; and his grandchildren, Drew, Brendan (Claire), Erin, Dara, Jackson, Cameron, Emma Grace and Amelia Charis Coker.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Friends of the W.H. Over Museum, Amnesty International, or the Friends of the Missouri National Recreational River.
