She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Margret Nikulasson and Gudmundur Nikulasson; her husband George Peterson III; her son John (Melanie); her grandsons, Blake, Chase, Sean and Parker; and her siblings, Orn Gudmundsson (Petra Gisladottir), Svava Gudmundsdottir (Jon Jonson), Erla Jona Gudmundsdottir (Hlodver) and Pesi.
In lieu of flowers memorial may be directed to the SD Alzheimer Association, or the Sioux Falls Humane Society.
