It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fern Kaufman (Vermillion, South Dakota), who passed away on November 30, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Fern Kaufman to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jeanette Ching and Dewey Ching; and her husband Chuck. She is survived by: her siblings, Elizabeth Ching Kerr (Oelwein Iowa), Marilyn Ching Abraham and William Ching; her children, Norman (Sheri), Kevin (Kathy) and Nanette (Mark); her grandchildren, Christopher, Kendra, Kelly, Matthew, Thea and Natalie; and her great grandchildren, Hemera, Phineas, Charles and Xavian.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the United Church of Christ (226 E Main St, Vermillion, SD 57069). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location.
