She was predeceased by: her parents, Clara Nielsen (Neisius) and Christian Bernhardt Nielsen; her husbands, Melvin Gray and Wilmer Clark; her daughter Connie Cournoyer; her brothers, Martin "Jack" Nielsen, Melvin Nielsen, Hans "Sonny" Nielsen and Robert "Bub" Nielsen; her grandsons, Sage Gray, Kevin Sargent and Curtis Nelsen; and her great grandchild Keith Jongeward Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Nancy Lee (John Pierret), Angela Kathleen (Clark Ladner), Deanne Lynne (Ronnie Brown), Bernard Lester (Bernie), Valerie Dawn (Barry Gravatt), Lorna Joy, Melvin Eugene (Rebecca) and Bernie; and her sister Lillian "Babe" Moore (Nielsen). She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, many great and great great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Kober Funeral Home - Vermillion (402 E Main St, Vermillion, SD 57069). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
