It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Simmons (Vermillion, South Dakota), born in Lincoln, Nebraska, who passed away on May 17, 2018, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Robert Simmons and Martha Louise Simmons (Klaus). She is survived by: her grandparent German-Russian; her husband Christopher Jacques Hoover; her sister Lynda Marie Hopkins (Simmons); her nieces, Jennifer Hopkins Pepin and Katherine Hopkins Buckley; her children, Abul Shaifullah and Musheera Anis; her granddaughters, Fatima Aleman, Bismallah Aleman and Eman Aleman; and her children, Michael Fletcher, Sarah Fletcher, Raghda Mashal and Mayada Ali.
Instead of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Amnesty International.
