He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Larry Mart and Rosemary Mart (Brown); his wife Sara; his stepchildren, Maggie, Gray and Gertie Peterson; his siblings, Jeff Mart (Julie), Karen Bauermeister (Kurt), Deb Vigdal (Ken), Kathy Peckham and Dan Mart (Carrie); his nieces and nephews, Amy Sanford (Henry), Nick Mart (Jordynne), Tanner Mart (Casey), Chris Mart (Jana), William Mart, Ryan Bauermeister (Allie), Sara Schiltz (Drew), Kendra Macke (Tanner), Thomas Vigdal (Crystal), Tomalyn, Carly Peckham and Carter Mart; his brother John; and his grandparents, Ray, Bernice Brown (Manning), Harold and Ruth Mart (Nelson).
Instead of flowers, memorial gifts can be directed to the Vermillion Public School Foundation for endowed scholarships in Doug's name.
