He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Hughes and Margaret Hughes (Shadbolt); and his brother-in-law Alfred Taggart. He is survived by: his children, Dale Jr., Stacey and Gina; his children-in-law, Gloria Taggart of Vermillion, Beverly Mincks (Darrell) of Vermillion and Donna Baltazar of Sioux Falls; and his brother Jerry Hughes of Englewood, Colo.. He is also survived by his three grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren; his sisters.
