She was predeceased by: her husband Leland Nelsen; her parents, Clark and Clarissa; her siblings, Verlyn, Stanley (Toby) and Darlene (Jepsen); and her grandsons, Jason and Curtis.
She is survived by: her brother Toby; her sons, Rick Nelsen (Rose) of Vermillion, SD and Rod Nelsen of Vermillion, SD; her sister Marilynne Kaiser of Meckling, SD; her grandchildren, Stephanie McDonald (Glen) of Vermillion, SD, Shane Nelsen (Laurie) of Oakland, ME, Chad Nelsen (Caroline) of Buna, TX and Rickey Neil Nelsen (Lisa) of Mitchell, SD; her stepgrandson Adam Yeager of Vermillion, SD; and her great grandchildren, Tasha, Zach, Eli, Luke, Noah, Addison, Amelia, Naomi and Everett.
