She is survived by: her grandparent German-Russian; her husband Christopher Jacques Hoover; her sister Lynda Marie Hopkins (Simmons); her nieces, Jennifer Hopkins Pepin and Katherine Hopkins Buckley; her children, Abul Shaifullah and Musheera Anis; her granddaughters, Fatima Aleman, Bismallah Aleman and Eman Aleman; and her children, Michael Fletcher, Sarah Fletcher, Raghda Mashal and Mayada Ali.
Instead of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Amnesty International.
