Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Barbara Bernard of Vermillion, South Dakota, who passed away at the age of 92, on November 12, 2021. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, William Lyle and Lillian Lyle (Ruddell); her husband John R Bernard; her children, Shelly Bendert of Vermillion, Mariann Bernard (Bob Dixon) of Highlands Ranch, CO, Carol Mikuska (Jon Vander Pol) of Platte, SD and Cindy Knudsen (Mark) of Vermillion; her brother Mark Lyle (Jeanne) of Des Moines, IA; and her sons-in-law, Daryl Kuper and Mike Mikuska. She was also cherished by seven grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
In Lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the St Agnes Catholic School.
