With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Anthony Edelen of Vermillion, South Dakota, who passed away on November 13, 2021 at the age of 44. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Anthony Edelen to pay them a last tribute.

He is survived by: his children, Oscar and Stella; his wife Lisha; his siblings, Audra of Vermillion and Jarrod (Amber); his nieces and nephews, Archer, Charlie, Ben and Lila of Sioux Falls; his parents, Joe Edelen and Mary Edelen of Vermillion; his sister-in-law Jennifer of Sergeant Bluff, IA; and also, Randy and Jill VonEhwegen of Vermillion. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family has requested that all in attendance wear masks.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be directed to the Vermillion Rotary Club, the Vermillion Public School Foundation or the LAF program at the United Church of Christ, Congregational.
