He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Mandus and Edna Joy Lundy (Searles); his stepmother Annamae Riff Lundy; and his brother Richard. He is survived by: his son David; his brother Laurel; his daughter-in-law Katie; his grandchildren, Awstyn and Cohen of Sioux Falls; and his brother Paul Lundy of Ames, IA.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Friends of South Dakota Public Broadcasting.
