Malloy Arthur Herman Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Malloy Arthur Herman of Veblen, South Dakota, who passed away on June 7, 2022 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Herman and Tilla Herman (Mickelson); his wife Mary Ann Kleven of Hillhead, SD.; his son Kevin; his children-in-law, Toni Hintz and Ambrose Lamin; his sisters, Marlene Kleven and Mary Brown; his brother-in-law Roger Kleven; and his nephew Jason Shephard.
He is survived by: his children, Kathy of Alexandria, MN, Rick (Nancy) of Veblen, SD, Steve of Ipswich, SD, Wayne of Casselton, ND, Janet Strom (Bryan) of West Fargo, ND, Mark of Ipswich, SD and Connie Stinar (Cory) of West Fargo, ND.; his grandchildren, Abby Bengtson (Tony), Mitch Herman, Sasha Thorson (Jordan), Steven and Nick Strom; and his siblings, Donna, Bruce, Wally (Helen), Arvin (Caroline), John and Carol Shephard (Kyle). He is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
Malloy continued to farm full time after Mary Ann's sudden death in 2009, working through the summer of 2018 until his strength began to dwindle due to Parkinson's Disease.
