With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Florine Garcia of Veblen, South Dakota, who passed away on June 1, 2023 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel DuMarce Sr. and Eva Ella Robertson; and her siblings, Solomon, Levi, Sam Alec (Chaske), Sampson Sr., Hazen, Samuel Jr. (Sonny), Elijah, Lucy LaCroix and Agnes.
She is survived by: her husband Joseph Garcia; her sisters, Clarine Everette (Cisti), Lily Renville and June Blanton; and her children, Monica Max, Vanessa Long (Jimmy), Patricia Lapinski (Ken), Diane Taylor (Ward), Jacqueline Culp (Dennis), Dean Garcia (Kim), Teresa Smith, Consuelo Dudley (Gary) and Michelle Bednarz (Robert). She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
