She was predeceased by: her parents, German and Emma Rinas (Hopp); her husband Kenneth Skarnagel; her siblings, Anna Rinas, Thelma Eberhardt, Gustie Horton, Dan, Michael and Frank Rinas; and her son-in-law John Pallansch.
She is survived by: her sisters, Ann Dubois and Freda Poyet of Sisseton; her daughters, Thea Loy Pallansch (John) of Veblen, SD and Kathy Schweitzer (Mike Ahlemeier); and her great grandchildren, Karie Geyer (Dave), Mahree, Raymond, Jennifer Nelson (Matt), Kinsey, Hunter, Webster and Adam Schweitzer (Abi Sims). She is also survived by three grandchildren.
