Lawrence Dean Lape Obituary

We are sad to announce that on October 12, 2022, at the age of 81, Lawrence Dean Lape of Valley Springs, South Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Tim Lape and Viola Lape (Perkinson); his wife Kathy Swanson; his siblings, Ron Lape and Donna Marshall; his siblings-in-law, Randy Swanson, Gene Swanson, Deb Lape, Rene Swanson, Karen Nichols and Kathy Swanson; and his nephew Owen Swanson.

He is survived by: his children, Daniel (Roberta) and Alison Leuning (Paul) of Luverne, MN; his grandson Cody Lape; his brothers, Jack Lape, Den Lape (Val) and Kenny Lape (Patty) of Elkins, AR; and his nieces and nephews, Ben Lape (Shaina), Jed Lape, Zachariah Swanson, Sony Swanson, Erin Clawson (Jared) and Jessie Lape. He is also survived by many friends and family.
