She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Hollister and Pauline Hollister (Lindemann); her husband Henry "Hank" Aljets; her daughter Gwynn Bodewitz; her grandchildren, Angee Rozeboom, Terry Hiney and Billy Mathers; her stepfather Lewis "Mac" McEldowney; her son-in-law Larry Bakker; and her brother Burdette "Sonny" Hollister.
She is survived by: her children, Dianne Mathers (Bill) of Lake Madison, SD, Ginger Breen (Jim) of Sioux Falls, Cindy Bakker of Valley Springs, Jo Roozenboom (Dennis) of Valley Springs, Shellee Aljets (Brad Colombe) of Trent, SD and Brett Aljets (Merrily) of Sioux Falls; her son-in-law Kenny Bodewitz of Valley Springs; and her sisters, Kay Johnson and Linda McEldowney of Rochester, MN. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren; and many great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to First Lutheran Church in Valley Springs or the American Legion Auxiliary in Valley Springs.
