It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lee Goeden of Utica, South Dakota, born in Yankton, South Dakota, who passed away on April 30, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ignatius Goeden and Laura Goeden (Christensen); his siblings, Larry, David Goeden and Lorelei Hodges; his nephews, Bret and Aaron; his niece Megan; and his brother-in-law Elmer.
He is survived by: his wife Annie Goeden of Utica; his stepdaughters, Margaret Winckler (Ted Maple) of Ames, NE and Kathy Kruse (Richard) of Gladstone, MO; his grandchildren, Ashley, Meagan, Michael Winckler (Abby), Cassie Hastead (Spencer), Brad, Doug and Brianna Kruse; his great grandchildren, Makinzy, Addisyn Sweeney of Thomas and Baby Winckler; and his siblings, Cynthia Vollmer of Springfield, SD, Bernadette Hacecky (David) of Mission Hill, SD, Michelle Olszewski of Cedar Lake, IN and Michael Goeden (Layana) of Rogers, MN. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family would prefer memorials be directed to Martinus Lutheran Church.
