He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Patton and Sylvia Patton (Kralicek). He is survived by: his spouse Arletta Meyers; his daughter Kristi Patton; his sister Janice Vellek (Frank); his nieces and nephews, LeeAnn Freng (Randy), Lisa Barger (Rob), Michelle Stucky (Jim), Mark Vellek (Tami) and Richard Vellek (Brenda); and also, Kaylee Zoss and Walker Zoss. He is also survived by 13 great-nieces and nephews; 9 great-great-nieces and nephews.
