He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Patrick Haley Sr. and Margaret Ruth Keller; his former wife Shari Barry; his brother Clarence Haley; and his pets, Jack and Jake.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Appleby Smith; his daughter Bethany Haley of Hereford, SD; his stepson Monty Smith (Kim) of Sturgis, SD; his grandsons, Bailey and Tanner Smith of Sturgis, SD; his nephew Patrick Haley (Janeen) of Spearfish, SD; and his niece Stacie Haley of Belle Fourche, SD. He is also survived by cousins and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Hereford Volunteer Fire Department and the Meade County 4-H association.
