It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Harold Harwood (Union Center, South Dakota), born in Sturgis, South Dakota, who passed away on May 11, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Harwood and Kathryn Harwood (Denker); his wife Patricia Gregson; his granddaughter Trinity Wood; his parents-in-law, Glen and Mary Gregson; and his siblings-in-law, Marilu Green, Kay Stewart, Janet Harwood, Walt Green, Glenn Gregson and Frank Braden.
He is survived by: his children, Steven Harold, JoAnn Helene (Duane), Donald Richard, Judy DeVee (Rich), Steve Harwood (Debra) of Union Center, SD and Don Harwood (Kay); his grandchild Amie Hofland (Lee); his great grandchildren, Tyler, Gus and Tamie Fahrenholz (Tim); his siblings, Dorothy Olson (Dale) and Boyd Harwood; his siblings-in-law, Helene Braden, Dorothy Gregson and Dave Stewart; and also, Kira, Samantha, Shawn Harwood (Katie), Emerson, Eloise, Emilia, Shawna Wood, Shannon Gaylord (Reggie), Jackson, Landon, Rylan, Cory Harwood (Cassidy), Carly, Olivia, Wyatt, Andy Harwood, Kylie Griffith (Stuart), Graham, Colton, Josh Weisz (Madison) and Shelby Weisz. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to the Central Meade County Community Center.
