He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Valetta (Flieschmann) and Francis Joseph Hinker; his son Scott; his brother Richard Hinker; his daughter-in-law Christi; his great grandchild Orion Hinker; and his siblings-in-law, Ronald Jacobson and Joyce Hansen.
He is survived by: his wife Arlene Marie (Jacobson); his children, Craig (late Christi), Bryon (Lisa) of Canton, Krista (Joel Humpal) of Tyndall and Bobbi (Bonnie) of Tyndall, SD; and his sisters-in-law, Karen Hinker of Wyoming, Beverly (Royal McCracken) and Nancy Cooley Jacobson Grieme (Ernie). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; 12 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
