He was predeceased by: his parents, John "Jack" W. Staples and Florence Primus Staples (Primus); his daughter Angelica Dawn Staples; and his siblings, Jaquline S. Clausen, Mary Eisenhauer, Chester Staples and Cecil Staples.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Staples; his children, Anthony Duane Staples, Douglas Ralph Staples and Veronica Kaye Staples; his grandsons, Tanner Svanda and Elisha James Staples; and his brother Jerry Staples. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
