It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Humpal (Tyndall, South Dakota), who passed away on December 21, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Humpal and Anne Humpal (Teply) of Tyndall; his brothers, Robert, Larry and John; his brothers-in-law, Larry, Dennis, Keith and Dale; and his parents-in-law, Melvin and Delores Rathgeber.
He is survived by: his wife LaVon Rathgeber; his children, Joel (Krista), Tina, Jason (Amy), Justin (JJ) and JJ; his siblings, Betty Ranek and Ron (Tina); his children, Becky Melichar (Aaron), Lisa VanWinkle (Justin) and Jimmy (Amanda); his grandchildren, Tanner (Kayla), Allisan, Cole, Zach, Dylan and Brodie; his great grandchild Westen; and his stepgrandchildren, Austin, Alex and Keslee. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
