Donna Bohlmann Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donna Bohlmann of Tyndall, South Dakota, who passed away on December 4, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Grimme and Ruth Marie Grimme (Janssen); her husband Leslie Emil Bohlmann of Lesterville, SD; her siblings, Mary Williams (Grimme) and Larry Grimme; and her siblings-in-law, Oscar, Elmer, Rudy, Leo, Danny, Bobby, Melvin Bohlmann, Cliff Williams, Lois Grimme, Mildred Ruman, Berniece Slupe, Beverly Bohlmann (Betty), Phyllis Bohlmann, Pat Bohlmann, Don Musil and LeRoy Slupe.
She is survived by: her children, Jerry Bohlmann (Linda) of Lincoln, NE, Mary Ambler (Ben) of Greenwood, IN and Peggy George (Bill) of Dell Rapids, SD; her grandsons, Carson Bohlmann (Luan Oliveira), Alex Bohlmann of Rochester, MN and Noah Bohlmann (Amanda) of Lincoln, NE; her great grandchildren, Blakely and Zander Bohlmann of Lincoln, NE; her friend Leroy Sorenson; her brother Duane Grimme (Carol) of Georgetown, TX; her siblings-in-law, Louie Ruman, Gloria Bohlmann, Menno, Lucille Musil, Delores Bohlmann, Marcene Shutt and Janice Cahoy (Steve); and her nieces and nephews, Lori Schrempp, Debbie Williams, Scott Williams, Rick Keese, Greg Liebl and Michael Bohlmann. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Les and Donna boarded students from Southern State College to help with the farm work and later had neighbors and retired farmers help also until Les's diagnosis of Alzheimer's. They retired from farming in 1997.
