We are sad to announce that on March 8, 2023, at the age of 95, Melbourne McCrea of Twin Brooks, South Dakota, born in Ortonville, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth McCrea and Margaret McCrea (Schwandt); his sisters, Verona (Larry Sauer) and Violette (Lester Schimmel); and also Roy Boone.

He is survived by: his siblings, Orgene McCrea (Karen) and Verda McCrea of Milbank, SD; his nieces, Kim McCrea of Milbank, SD, Sheryl Pappas of Brookings, SD, Karla Boone of Blomkest, MN and Carmen Collins (Scott); his nephew Von McCrea; and his brother Kevin Schimmel (Sheila) of Webster.
