He was predeceased by: his parents, William Imm (Bill) and Alice Imm (Klapperich); his sister Kathryn Baker; and his brothers-in-law, Bill Peterson, John Boesl and Warren Stone.
He is survived by: his wife Rita Ann Boik; his parents-in-law, Les and Rita Boik; his children, Monte Imm (Angela) of Clear Lake, Vicki Meyers (Shawn) of Cottonwood, MN, Jenni Melvin (Chuck) of Frazee, MN and Tammi Hanson (Eric) of Holdingford, MN.; his grandchildren, Makayla, Chas Melvin, Jacob, Will Meyers, Sara, Sophie Hanson, Isabella, Jaymes and Jonah Imm; his sisters, Florence Petersen of Pittsburgh, Madalyn Stone of Rapid City and Bernice Boesl of Sturgis; and his brother-in-law Bob Baker.
In 2008, Al was officially diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease.
