She was predeceased by: her son Mark; her great grandchild Katelyn; and her brothers-in-law, Harlan Carlson and Mike Schmitz. She is survived by: her husband Douglas Deffenbaugh; her children, Brenda Warnke (Tim) of Fairfax, SD, Michael Deffenbaugh (Jean) of Tyndall, SD and Brad Deffenbaugh (Lisa); her daughter-in-law Ruth Deffenbaugh of Yankton, SD; and her sisters, Joyce Carlson, Velma Schmitz, Loretta Armfield (Lowell) and Ardeth Peshek. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; one great-grandchild on the way; and a great-great-grandchild.
