She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Dewald and Emilie Dewald (Heinrich); her husband Ervin; and her siblings, Phyllis Brosz, Gertrude Hieb and Ray Dewald.

She is survived by: her children, Myra Vetter of Pierre, SD and Joel Vetter (Pam) of Tripp, SD; and her grandchildren, Jennifer Eimers (Dean) of Madison, SD, Jason Vetter (Angela) of Hudson, Aiden, Alexis, Ethan Vetter, Bryce and Braden Eimers.
