He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Hakl and Delores Hakl of Lake Andes, SD.; his grandparents, George, Tillie Hakl, Gordon and Anna Bouza; his siblings, Mark Hakl and Judy Hakl; his aunts and uncles, Duane Bouza, Ray, Mary Bouza, Connie Bouza and Jean Bouza; and his great-nephew Ayden James Kniffen.
He is survived by: his nephew Eric; his daughter Vanessa Hakl; his grandson Cole Frahm; his siblings, Mary Beth Hakl and Bob Hakl (Marilyn); his uncles, Gordon Bouza (Phyllis) and Larry Bouza (Arlene); and his aunt Sue Bouza. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
