The memory of Dennis Lee Fischer Sr. (Tripp, South Dakota), who passed away on October 31, 2024 at the age of 75, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ervin Fischer and Irene Fischer (Wittmeier); his brother Eugene; his sister-in-law Judy Fischer; and his in-laws, Donald and Esther Flynn.

He is survived by: his brother Fischer Trucking; his wife Mary Ellen Fischer; his children, Dennis Fischer Jr. (Sherry) of Tripp, Terry Fischer (Sheri) of Tripp and Sherry Friman (John) of Tripp; his grandchildren, Brittany Zwak (Brice), Dustin Fischer (Jen), Cody Fischer (Shelby), Trisha Weber (Wade), Malorie Walz (Tony), Dalton Fischer, Kelley Eggebraaten (Austin), Morgan Macleary (Damon) and Jacey Friman; his sister Donna Schaeffer (Gerald); and his brother-in-law James Flynn.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Friedens Reformed Church (301 S Dobson St, Tripp, SD 57376). A prayer was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at the Friedens Reformed Church Cemetery (41113 288th St, Tripp, SD 57376).
