She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Vanderplaats and Henrietta Vanderplaats (Deboer); her son Timmy Dean Halvorson; her husband Herman Halvorson; and her daughter Tami Jo Meisenhoelder.
She is survived by: her son Todd Halvorson (Kelly); her son-in-law Brian Meisenhoelder; and her grandchildren, Joshua, James, Jarred Halvorson, Kala and Kara Meisenholder. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
