He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Bill" and Frances Kuhl (Cadwallader); his father-in-law Merle Rupert; and his brother-in-law Raymond Rupert. He is survived by: his wife Linda Kuhl (Rupert) of Tea, SD; his children, Dustin Kuhl of Tea, SD, Nicole Koehlmoos of Eureka Springs, AK and Christopher Kuhl of Norman, OK; his grandson Aidyn Kuhl; his close friends, Matt and Leah Moe; his siblings, Paul Kuhl (Sandy) of Cedar Rapids, IA, Patty Sautter (Joe) of Council Bluffs, IA, Bonnie Fegenbush (Mark) of Whiting, IA and Linda Milliken of Omaha, NE; his siblings-in-law, Jodean Grosebeck of Yukon, OK and Roderick "Rowdy" Rupert (Stacey) of Parkers Prairie, MN; his mother-in-law Janice Rupert of Ida Grove, IA; and also, Rease and Chelsi. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Due to state and federal mandated guidance on gatherings due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a Private Family Service will be held at Christensen – Van Houten Funeral Home of Ida Grove, with Father Richard D. Ball officiating.
