He is survived by: his former wife Mary Fattig (Woitaszewski); his children, Elissa Heibel (Jon) and Edwin Fattig; his grandchildren, Steven and Cara Heibel; and his siblings, Roger Fattig (Melanie), Bruce Fattig (Ann), Susan Grasser (John), Sharon Johnson and Carol Rich (Barry).

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been set up to assist his family with expenses.
