It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Edward Teer of Tea, South Dakota, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on December 27, 2021, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Teer and Bernice Teer (Johnson); his sisters, Jean Pryor, Judy Buchanan and Joyce Teer; his parents-in-law, Darrell Mikkelsen and Phyllis Mikkelsen; and his niece Michelle Hutchins.
He is survived by: his former wife Joann Johnson; his cousin Carl; his wife Kathy Teer of Tea, SD; his children, Jamille Teer of Oakland, CA, Jasmine Teer of Los Angeles, CA, Shawn Pastian (Selina) of Gold Hill, OR and Nevaeh Teer of Tea, SD; his grandson Caiden Pastian; his siblings, Jennifer Teer of Oakland, CA and John Teer of Chicago, IL; his sisters-in-law, Cindy Yale (Rock) of Burlington, ND and Mona Kotas (Neil) of Huron, SD; and also Tony. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
