He was predeceased by: his parents, Fredrick Christman and Martha Christman (Leder); and his son-in-law Ron Koupal. He is survived by: his wife Alaca; and his children, Gerald Christman (Linda) of Bloomington, IL, Barb Koupal of Tabor, SD, Melvin Christman (Cinda) of Parkston, SD and Julia Fischer (Jerry) of Mitchell, SD.. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
