She is survived by: her spouse Paul Sangster, Jr.; her children, Rosalie Heidinger of Andover, Minnesota, Quincy Schmidt of Springport, Michigan, Travis Schmidt (Carla Degen) of Yankton, Trent Schmidt (Laura) of Aberdeen and Ben Schmidt (Tera) of Yankton; and her brother Harry Johnson (Alice) of Parkston. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; three step children.
