He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolph Sestak and Lillian Sestak (Travnicek); his son Ryan Sestak; his brothers, Thomas Sestak and Joseph; and his brother-in-law Ken Garner.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Teply; his children, Corey Sestak (Katherine) of Sioux Falls, SD and Kristin Schuch (Christopher) of Tabor, SD; his granddaughter Olivia Sestak of Sioux Falls, SD; and his siblings, Pat Garner of Saint Paul, MN, Karen Luebke (Duke) of Garretson, SD and Terry Sestak (Eileen) of Tabor, SD. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
