She was predeceased by: her parents, George Suess and Magdalena Suess (Heihn); her husband H. R. "Bud" Bertrand; her son Joe Bertrand; and her siblings, Hugo, Ruben, Arthur, Emil, Alvin, Harold, Edmund, Loren, Martha, Clara and Esther.
She is survived by: her children, Ray Bertrand (Dee), LuAnn Geiman (John) and Brian Bertrand (Renda); and her siblings, Al Suess of Sioux Falls and Elda Juhnke of Columbus.
