He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman D. Halvorson and Elise C. Halvorson (Lee); and his siblings, Donna Lu, LuAnn and David.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Westberg; his children, Robert Halvorson of Summit, SD, Robin Bortnem (Todd) of Brookings, SD and Rebecca Halvorson Woodland of Nevada; his grandson Gavin Woodland (Cassy) of Minnesota; his daughter Kelsey Boetcher (Matt) of Nevada; and his great grandchild Chloe Woodland.
