It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Jane Shape of Summit, South Dakota, who passed away on March 8, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Miller and Mary Miller (Ward); her sons, William and Bill; her husband Raymond Joseph Shape; her son Richard; and her siblings, Richard Miller, Joan Mors and Marilyn Hawkinson.
She is survived by: her children, Chris and John; her sibling Chief Sitting Bull; her children, Colette Panning (Gene) of Bloomfield, NE, Christine Johnson (Gary) of Yankton, SD, Raymond Shape Jr. of Spencer, SD, Jamie Shape (Terri) of Bridgewater, SD, Robert Shape (Teresa) of Hot Springs, SD and Ronald Shape (Trahnee) of Black Hawk, SD; and her siblings, Donald Miller and Yvonne Hills.
