Wendelyn Richter Obituary

We are sad to announce that on April 22, 2023, at the age of 92, Wendelyn Richter of Sturgis, South Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Marianna Wald and Andrew Richter; his daughter Pamela Richter; and his siblings, Mike, Thomas Richter, Angeline Reynolds, Catherine Corry and Margie Cagle.

He is survived by: his wife Doris Gardner; his children, Michael Richter and Suzanne Hammers (Timothy); his grandchildren, Derrick Richter (Heidi), Clinton Corean (Rachel), Jessica Richter, Jacob Hammers and Benjamin Hammers; his great grandchildren, Brantley, Sophie and Kade Richter; and his sisters, Viola Shroeder, Luella Waddle (Jerry), Anita Flood and JoAnne Santa (Joseph).

A memorial has been established to the Spearfish Community Food Pantry and the Spearfish Senior Center.
