He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Phillips and Grace Phillips; his wife Beverly; his grandchildren, Claire Ann Mackey and Chris Phillips; his siblings, Ruth, Leo, Walter, Robert, George and Lloyd; and his son-in-law Dan Olson.
He is survived by: his children, David Phillips (Deb) of Whitewood, SD, Judy Mackey (Bob Short) of Sturgis and Jody Phillips-Olson (Arthur Fuller) of Sturgis; and his brother Gary Phillips (Maureen). He is also survived by five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
