He was predeceased by: his sister Kristin Hausman. He is survived by: his former wife Barbara E. Kuborn; his wife June McKie; his son Tracy Hamblet (JR); his granddaughter MaRin of Rapid City, SD; his daughter Brooke Hamblet; his grandchildren, Freddy and Gray of Ft Worth; his stepson Matt Berger of Rapid City, SD; and his siblings, Vicki Forrest, Jeff Rogers (Janelle) of Nashville, TN and Cindy Townsend (Dan) of Sturgis, SD. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation.
