He was predeceased by: his parents, Merritt Kerlin and Thelma Kerlin; his brother James Kerlin; his daughter Jessica Kerlin; and his granddaughter Anjuli Kerlin.
He is survived by: his close friend Mimi Stiles; his former wife Lynette Kerlin; his daughters, Desiree Moe (Justin) of Forest Lake, MN and Juliet Kerlin (Andrew Dwyer) of Minneapolis, MN; and his grandchildren, Yike, Olen and Agatha Moe.
