She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude H. Gresham and Belle Gresham (Hill); and her siblings, Grits Gresham, Edith Kelley, Martha Gresham and Rosa Schemmel.
She is survived by: her children, Dr. John R. Bedingfield, Jr. (Joyce) of Piedmont, SD, Barbara Bedingfield of Piedmont, SD and David Bedingfield (Susan) of Pelzer, SC.
