It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Varilek (Sturgis, South Dakota), who passed away on March 13, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe O. Varilek and Ruth A. Varilek (Glynn); his wife Barbara; and his sister Dorothy Barrow. He is survived by: his children, Lisa Volk, Blair Sullivan, Timothy Varilek, Susan Laurenti, Robert C. Varilek, Julie Backes, Andrew Varilek, Nathan Varilek and Margaret Varilek; his brothers, Ron and Dick Varilek; his brother-in-law Michael "Mick" Penticoff; and also Laura Lubley. He is also survived by 27 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
