He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Lehrkamp and Bertha Lehrkamp (Stanley); his brothers, Walter Lehrkamp Jr., William Lehrkamp and James Lehrkamp; his daughter Tammy Donaldson; and his grandson Lee Lehrkamp.
He is survived by: his wife Lucille S. Francoeur; his sons, Robert Lehrkamp, Jr. (Susan) of Sturgis, SD, Michael Lehrkamp (Jodie) of Caputa, SD and David Lehrkamp (Margie Ford) of Nemo, SD; his son-in-law Tim Donaldson of Sturgis, SD; and his sister Phyllis Lassanske of Aberdeen, SD. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial has been established to Sturgis Ambulance service.
