He is survived by: his parents, Robert I. Hegr and Darlene M Hegr (Ernst); and his siblings, Robyn Peterson (Mark) of Sun City, AZ, Jana Koupal (Mark) of Rapid City, SD and Troy Hegr (Nancy) of Holiday, FL. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces, great nephews and aunts, uncles and many cousins.
A memorial has been established to Teen Challenge of the Dakota Challenge.
